  • This pic was taken by a friend we met onboard the cruise last fall. One of the very last pictures of Bill. Our son with us.

  • I know, I haven't been on much lately. Been spending my time on Farm Town. My daughter and two grandchildren will be heading to MO this weekend to the 20th Annual Jones Reunion. I just can't stay away even though Bill won't be with me. This will be a new one, but the Lord will help me through it.

We had a Memorial Service for all that have passed in the last year at our church yesterday. Daughter wanted to know why we do that and bring up old memories, but it's just a traditional thing. The same thing as setting aside Memorial Day for the veterans each year. Just a time set aside to remember those gone on. Some day we won't have to do that any longer, we can be with them on the other side. I'm not in any hurry yet, don't worry!

  • Spring

We've got our garden in and it's raining, raining and raining. Hopefully the sun will shine soon or we'll have drowned garden plants. I made a rock garden from all of the rocks Bill and I collected through the years. Some are chunks of glass from our glass tank when we had a glass manufacturing plant.

  • Still Waiting

We're still waiting on the weather to warm up to plant. We have some red onions in the ground and a few potatoes ready to plant. We've bought peppers and tomatoes and lots of seeds, but are afraid to put them out until it quits freezing. Maybe after Easter it won't freeze any longer.

I have candy tuft in bloom.

  • Garden again

The garden has two loads of horse manure and a sack of blood meal on it and SIL tilled it in. We got some really good rain, so I think we're all set to plant garden by next week. There's no reason why we shouldn't have a good garden this year. I just hope we don't have any more frost. Have a good weekend.
